Dear All,
This week I started working for L'Artisan Parfumeur, and I thought it would be fair to let you know about this. Perfume-Smell' Things has always been and will always be my own private blog, not affiliated with the company that employs me, and it will, of course, keep going with five posts a week, as usual.
Love,
Marina.
Congratulations my dear on your fabulous new job.
ReplyDeleteCongrats Marina! I'm so jealous of you and Ina. (Although I must admit that I love my current job.) Please, Frederic Malle, open a store in Toronto and hire me!
ReplyDeleteCongrats!
ReplyDeleteBut for a moment there I thought I was on aromascope.com ...
L'Artisan is snapping up all the frag bloggers! NowSmellThis you are next !
Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteAre you working at the corporate level on in one of the stores? Where?
Congratulations! I will always have a soft spot for L'A as Dzing! opened the door to scent for me. I think enjoy more of their scents than any other single line. Now use your power for good & tell them to keep Dzing!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats Marina, hope you're having fun!
ReplyDeleteAnd faizan, not me. I couldn't sell water in a desert :-)
Congratulations and best of luck!!! L'artisan is certainly getting the most knowledgeable employees!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!! Tell us what you'll be doing! I keep nagging Ina to do a post about what it's like to work in a fragrance store.
ReplyDeleteCongrats! And please tell us what would be your job. Best luck!
ReplyDeleteM: I'm so pleased for you, wonderful woman that you are!
ReplyDeleteI hope it is a 'dream job' for you !
ReplyDeleteLucky them...
Congratulations! L'Artisan is so lucky to have you. I hope you enjoy your gig immensely.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness!!!! This is fabulous, an absolute DREAM JOB!Congratulations Marina! What will you be doing? You must be so very excited! Boy, they sure knew what they were doing when they hired you!
ReplyDeleteI was going to say exactly what Beth G. said! They probably have no idea how lucky they are!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, my bottle of Eau du Fier is on it's way from Rotterdam! The lovely Lianne Tio that runs the boutique has four more bottles at the moment. It would seem that it is still being made in very small quantities to satisfy the "few" but die-hard fans. If anybody is interested in ordering a bottle from Lianne, just give me a hollar.
Congratulations on your new job, Marina!
ReplyDeleteYippety-dooh-dah!!! (I'll pretend for a sec it's news to me). ;D So happy to have you on board, chica.
ReplyDeleteCongrats, Marina -- that is great news!
ReplyDeleteGood for you! L'Artisan is one of my favorites, I'm envious. Please keep up the wonderful writing.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, everybody, for your kind words and kind wishes!! Big hugs to everyone!!
ReplyDeleteWe will share you only if you tell us what your favorite L'Artisan is and why...pronto Miss Thing!
ReplyDeleteC,
ReplyDeleteMy favorite L'Artisan has always been Dzing. I also discovered yesterday, much to my shock, that I am suddenly very much in love with Premiere Figuier. I managed to smell the new iris Harvest scent, Iris Pallida and it is lovely, had an interesting leathery undertone on my skin.
Hearty Congratulations Marina!
ReplyDeleteMy best wishes.
Karthic.
Many Congratulations Marina! I hope you enjoy your new position. I went into L'AP at the weekend with a friend to browse (and make sure they still had enough Dzing left in store so I don't need to stock pile yet) and my friend went into raptures about and bought Le Premier Figuier and the Orange Flower candle. I'd like the Bois Oriental light bulb thingy and a couple of the Bottega Vennetto (or whatever it is) candles. Oh and Tea for Two. Not much eh?
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! L'Artisan has just gained someone very special, and I am sure that they realize it.
ReplyDeleteI will be visiting you soon! :)

Dear Marisha!Congratulations!And GOOD LUCK! :-)
ReplyDeleteGenia
A big congrat Marina ! ( wow, does it mean that from now on you can bath in DZONGKHA ?)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to you! How ironic, right when I am preparing a post about how all evidence shows that L'Artisan is truly my favorite perfume house, even though I tend to insist it's Frederic Malle. :-) I am both very happy for you and very jealous.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I am wearing Dzing! right now...I agree--you *must* stop them from discontinuing it!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, they are so very lucky to have you!
ReplyDeleteThey need to open a store in Denver and hire me to run it. :)
Thank you so much, everybody!!
ReplyDeleteDzing is still there, but the 50ml bottles are being phased out. That may or may not be a bad sign.
I seemed to have missed this post- Congratulations Marina!!
ReplyDeleteBelated congratulations!!
ReplyDeleteWow what a dream job! Congrats, what exactly do you do for L'Artisan?
