Oiro, New Perfume by Mona di Orio
 Mona di Orio is about to add a fourth scent to her collection. Oiro, inspired by gold, will contain notes of green mandarin from Calabria, jasmin absolut from India and immortelle. (From Mona di Orio press release) The other fragrances in the line are Carnation, Lux and Nuit Noire. |

That's what I thought! And I also thought, immortelle sems to be in fashion!
I read about this on another site aswell but they didnt have much information .did mona di orio press release say when it is out and where i can buy. thank you . love your blog

Thank you! No, unfortunately no dates. As for where to buy, I am sure that, when it is launched in the States, it would join the other 3 scents at Aedes. In the UK, Les Senteurs stock this line.

I haven't seen a picture of Oiro, but I have a feeling ti should be the same as others. They are gorgeous.

Not sure about immortelle as a fashion note -- don't you think outside of niche folks, most people find it gross? Running the frags I can think of thru my mind with prominent immortelle, and the only one I can think of I'd describe as mainstream is Lempicka L, and it's pretty tame in there. I wish AG made a Sables light, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Takes an exorcism to get rid of it.
Oh I meant niche fashion :-) The department store fashion has been the same for...a long time. Fruity florals. *sigh*
Yeah, I have to agree. I sort of don't want immortelle to become big outside of the niche houses.
I shudder to think what would happen if it really started getting mainstream: Paris Hilton Syrup of Paris anyone?
