Another Random Friday: a Poll and a Prize Draw
 So for some reasons Fridays are not review-friendly. It's all about randomness again, but personally I enjoy a bit of a general, not perfume-related talk once in a while. Elle, I love Guy Gavriel Kay, the man knows how to epics so beautifully, and well he is one of the few authors that truly does make me sob.

1. I have been enjoying Un Jardin Sur Le Nil and Eau d'Orange Vert, as well as Bulgari Aqua. These three are a sign of the newly hot sunny cheerful weather I'm experiencing.
2. the curious incident of the dog in the night-time by Mark Haddon (yes the title is in lower case on the book). It's GREAT... look it up... and a great, not too long book to teak a breather from boring fashion designers ;)

4. I like a veggie panini they sell near where I live with sprouts, tomato, avocado, lettuce, mayo, and italianish dressing.

6. Last REALLY good movie I saw? Two... Chocolat, which I just saw a couple months ago... and hold onto your hat... the Disney Cartoon movie Brother Bear. Talk about cleansing the soul and giving you some good old fashioned happy tears. Yeah! Very good one!

1. Lalique Encre Noir. Its deep dark rooty vetiver is yummy, calm, cool, and collected on me. And of course Possets' Gingerbread Whorehouse (yes, it's real, and it's pure buttery spicy fabulousness-- I only wish it wasn't an oil, because I would love to spray with abandon.)
2. I just finished "You Suck" by Christopher Moore. I didn't love it, but it was fun and frothy. I am also wallowing through "What to Expect When You're Expecting." (I'm not, but here's hoping that soon I will be.)
3. Well... right now I am mad for Rock Band, so I have to give Rock Band songs. I love singing Sprode by Freezepop, Reptilia by the Strokes, and... yes, I really do love singing the theme song, "Highway Star." I'm the only person I know to consistently score in the high 90s singing it too, so there.
4. Fresh mozzarella, fresh basil, and ripe tomatoes with a drizzle of olive oil. Yum.
5. I re-watch things. M*A*S*H. Scrubs. I think my very favorite show will always be Metalocalypse -- oh, or Home Movies. I love Brendan Small and think he is a genius.
6. Wow, I can't remember. I've seen a string of bad ones. I think the last good movie I RE-watched was V for Vendetta (which I know has its flaws but is both fun and thoughtful, and very restrained with the music.)

You will love Gotham. Has the same gauzy type feel as L'air de Rien. Doesn't smell the same but has a place and time feeling to it. Does that make sense? Also, I adore how his scents transition. Genius!

Speaking of "Omnivore's Dilemna", Have you read any of Michael Pollan's other books? If not, definitely do so--they are wonderful. Especially "The Botany of Desire." "Second Nature" and "A Place of My Own" are also really good. I think he has a new one out too...
PS: I agree about Marion Cotillard--the Edith Piaf actress. She is gorgeous and so classy. I can't wait to see the movie--my hubby and I have tried renting it but every time we check, all copies are rented out (we have checked 3 times this week alone!).
