Perfume-Smellin' Things is One Year Old
 I almost forgot (thank goodness for desk calendars). The blog is 1 year old today... And they said it wouldn't last! :-) Here is how it all began. Apart from serving its obvious function, i.e. being an outlet for my perfume-related ramblings, PST brought to my life new online friendships and strengthened old ones. I wanted to say big heartfelt thank you to my wonderful readers, commenters and non-commenters. It's hard to believe that you find the blog worth reading and the fact that you do makes me very happy. Also huge thank you to my very talented guest posters, Mr. Colombina (who knew he had it in him to write for a Perfume Blog!) , Tom and everyone else! ...And I thank the Academy for choos...ooops, I got carried away. Big hugs to everybody! Please tune in tomorrow for the review of L'Artisan's Fleur de Narcisse. |

Returns! Once a bottle is in my greedy hands, I can't seem to be able to let go, even if I am not in love with a scent. I don't mind decanting it slowly away, but to actually get rid of a whole bottle...I even have hard time throwing away empty ones. I am sick. :-)

Colombina theoretically means all sorts of things (for example, it's a character in the commedia dell'arte), but I just simply like the way it sounds. In a very obscure, roundabout way it refers to some things in my past that I want to remember.
