I wanted to stop by and say I was just on ebay looking at Rose oil and my eyes about popped out of my head... there is a bottle ( 35.27 oz)of Bulgarian rose oil up from 1904 for a starting bid of
US $225,575.00 !
The bottle looks gorgeous. It is wrapped in felt and a wax seal. I am just pretty amazed...maybe it is not unusual to spend that kind of money.
It's amazing how can faith in Perfume Smelling Things taste and the promise of a fresh green floral inspire so many of us. Thank you Cornlil. and, strangely enough, the moment I read your wishes, the Anonymous was filled with human substance. Now it has a name. :-)
