Jean Patou Website
 It might not be news to anyone else, but I just discovered that after what seems like years of being under construction, the Jean Patou website is now active. Although a little hard to navigate, it looks lovely. Reading about my beloved 1000, I learned that, when it was first launched, bottles of 1000 were delivered in Rolls Royces to the most elegant women in Paris *sigh*... I hoped that the site would have more information on perfumes from Ma Collection (Adieu Sagesse, Colony, etc.), but they are only mentioned - rather briefly- in the historic overview. Rolls Royces... That would almost make it worth buying unsniffed, wouldn`t it? Too bad they don`t do it anymore.
Isn't that site gorgeous? I love, love, love the house of Patou and so look forward to my first full bottle of 1000. To me it is the quintessence of perfumery. I was contemplating the edp, I couldn't test the extrait, have you had the chance to compare the two?

I do wish there was more about scents other than 100, Joy, Sublime, etc. Oh well.

Hi ! I adore Patou 1000 . been wearing it for over 21 years. The eau de parfum is rich ,beautiful with great sillage. Of course, the extrait is exquisite - a more concentrated version. I would buy the extrait/or the EDP. I do not care for edt.
I will check out the Patou site as I am a fan of Joy, 1000 and Sublime. I got Sira Des Indes - but am not crazy about it !
